Purchasing Goods

We have made purchasing fishing tackle and equipment as easy as possible. Simply add your items to the cart and when you are ready you can proceed to checkout. Once you proceed to the checkout you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to process your order. These details are safe, secure and will not be passed on to any 3rd party other than our courier for delivery.

We accept Visa Credit, Visa Debit, Mastercard Credit & Mastercard Debit.

We are committed to providing quality products at competitive prices from trusted suppliers. Our prices are regularly reviewed to ensure we provide our customers with good value at a competitive and fair price.

From time to time our prices may increase or decrease due to market forces outside of our control. There are many reasons that can affect prices from raw material cost, production schedules, exchange rates and transportation. These all lead to price increases or decreases.

Refunds

Our refund and returns policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as bait cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at sales@last-cast-tackle.co.uk.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at sales@last-cast-tackle.co.uk.

Shipping returns

To return your product, you should contact us via email or telephone so we can start the returns process.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Shipping And Handling

DELIVERY SCHEDULE

At Last Cast Tackle we endeavour to process and despatch your orders as quickly as possible. Orders placed before 12 noon are normally despatched the same day. Next Working Day orders should be with you the working day after ordering (please note Next Working Day orders placed after noon on Thursday will be delivered on the following Monday and orders placed after noon on Friday and over the weekend will be delivered on the following Tuesday). 1 to 3 day is also often delivered the next working day but it is NOT a guaranteed service so may take slightly longer. Small items are usually sent with the Royal Mail and larger items with a carrier, such as APC, FedEx or DPD.

During periods of peak demand we may not be able to keep up with our normal despatch schedule so if your order is time critical please e-mail us at sales@last-cast-tackle.co.uk to let us know that your order is urgent

Tracked 24 parcels should in theory be, and in many cases are, delivered the following working day. Alas at times it can take slightly longer and we regret that we cannot take any action with regards to delayed 1st class parcels until 14 working days after despatch.

We do not ship outside of the UK.

All delivery times are estimates only and Last Cast Tackle cannot guarantee delivery times due to any inconsistency, bad weather or other unavoidable problem with the carriers or the Royal Mail.

If you feel that your order is overdue please e-mail sales@last-cast-tackle.co.uk and we will investigate for you.

All parcels will require a signature on delivery so please ensure that someone will be available at the delivery address to sign for the parcel.

Should we be unable to deliver your goods as agreed Last Cast Tackle will contact you to arrange an alternative delvery time. Should no alternative arrangements be possible a full refund will be made.

BACK ORDERS

If your item is not in stock, we can back order for you. You will either be emailed or called to confirm. If you wish to cancel a part order please let us know by email sales@last-cast-tackle.co.uk or by phone on 023 9252 9107.

COLLECTIONS

All orders for collection should be made on our website by checking out with the shipping moethod “Collect from store”. Collections should be picked up at our store address below.

CREDIT CARD SECURITY

Our shopping cart is totaly secure and is held on a secure server. Credit/Debit Card Payments are taken through our secure payment service provider, Stripe. This system is in-line with the latest best practise and your card details are not submited to, or held by, Last Cast Tackle.

GUARANTEE

Our aim is to try and guarantee your satisfaction and to this end we endeavour to check that all items are correct before despatch. In the unlikely event that there is something wrong with the order we will try and rectify the problem as quickly as possible. If an item is found to be defective upon receipt we will replace it as soon as we receive the faulty item back. To arrange this just call us on 023 9252 9107 within 7 working days of receipt and speak to any of our sales staff. If preferred you can email us at sales@last-cast-tackle.co.uk.

WARRANTY

Most of our products come with a full manufacturer’s warranty against manufacturing defect, normally for 12 months from the date of purchase. Please note this warranty only covers faults caused by manufacturing defect and will not cover any faults which are a result of neglect, misuse, modification or general wear and tear. If a product becomes faulty during use please contact us and we will advise you how to make a warranty claim. (This does not affect your statutory rights).

Warranty & Guarantee exceptions

(*1) – ROD RINGS – Please note rod rings are fragile and susceptible to damage should a rod be dropped or misused. Most manufacturers will NOT replace a rod which has been used just because it has a damaged ring so please make sure to check all rod rings before first use of the fishing rod and report any problems to us within 7 working days of receiving the rod and before the rod has been used.

(*2) – MAINTAINANCE – Salt water is a very corrosive environment and you have a duty of care to ensure that the item purchased is cleaned and maintained correctly after use. Failure caused by lack of maintenance will be deemed as negligence and will not be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.

If you are not totally satisfied with your purchase for any reason then you may return it to us for an exchange or refund. You have 14 days from receiving the product, within which time you may return it. Please notify us before returning the item and also make sure to include your name, address and instructions with the returned item.

The cost of the goods and the standard delivery charge, if any, will be refunded, so long as the goods are unused and in saleable condition. It is the buyers responsibility to ensure the goods are of resalable condition before being returned. We retain the right to deduct upto 20% of the value of the goods if the goods returned are deemed unfit for resale.

Your postage charges for the return of the goods will not be refunded and the goods are your responsibility until received by us. For returning expensive items we recommend that you use registered post.

COMPLAINTS

If for any reason you are not totally happy with our goods or services and have a complaint, please email us at sales@last-cast-tackle.co.uk. All complaints will be acknowledged personally, within 5 working days. We will endeavour to reach a solution with you within 7 working days. All complaints will be logged so that we can monitor them for internal usage only
