HTO Shore Jig

Description

The HTO Shore Jig is a versatile lure which can be used to target a wide variety of species. It has a wobbling action and also flutters ‘on the drop’ making it particularly effective when fished ‘sink and draw’.

These types of lures are very popular in Japan and this is reflected in the fitment of an assist hook rather than the traditional treble.

The assist hook works very well and fish find it harder to shake free as they cannot use the lure to lever the hook out. It is also handy if you like to practice catch and release as singles tend to be easier to remove from the fish.

If you prefer to use a normal tail mounted treble or single then a split ring is supplied to allow the fitment of an alternative hook.

The HTO Shore Jig is ideal for fishing in mid water for mackerel, pollack and bass or try bouncing it along the bottom for Gurnards etc.
