Description
Daiwa Tournament Tapered Shock Leader has a tapered diameter along the length of the leader. The end that connects to the rig body is thick and the leader gradually becomes thinner as it travels down its length to the mainline. This taper means that when its cast, the leaders will ‘turn over’ more efficiently. It creates a smaller leader knot and aids in casting and less chance of hanging on to seaweed.
Designed at 13m (43’) long and made from extra strong mono with high impact shock resistance.
The profile starts with 9m (30’) of 0.8mm (65lbs) and tapers over the remaining 4m (13’) down to 0.37mm (16lbs).
Available in fluorescent orange (Surf) and clear (Clear).
