The Daiwa Tournament Pro Surf 13′ 6” Rod has a casting weight of 4 – 8oz and is supplied in 2 sections.

Designed by Daiwa for the accomplished caster and serious beach angler, the Tournament Pro Surf rods offer substantial casting power combined with superior bite detection.

The Tournament Pro Surf is a long casting rod, comfortably hitting 200yds+ during testing, and makes a superb long range rod for fishing over clean or mixed ground venues.

Utilising HVF – High Volume Fibre reinforced with X45 and 3DX to deliver an ultra-high level of power conversion. The refined all carbon tip engages enough flex to allow progressive ‘loading’ during the cast, yet enough rigidity to resist tidal tow whilst still showing slight plucks from smaller fish.

The parallel butt section is furnished with a sliding Fuji DPS reel seat, allowing up or down reel location.

Line travel is assisted with Fuji KWAG Guides throughout. Their forward angle and wider frame shape preventing wrap rounds and backlash.
