Description

The Daiwa SL30SH is a firm favourite with everyone here at Last Cast Tackle.

The SL30 has proved so popular that it has even earned a nickname of the “Slosh”. At one time discontinued demand by anglers was so great that Daiwa reintroduced it to the UK and it still continues to be a top seller.

The Daiwa SL30SH is a size up from the 6500/7ht style of reel and this makes it a good choice for using heavier lines and for fishing more demanding marks such as those found in the Bristol Channel, Wales and the South Coast. Anglers fishing these tough spots have learnt to appreciate the SL30SH’s tough build, fast 6.1:1 retrieve and powerful star drag.

The Daiwa SL30SH offers very good casting performance and the centrifugal braking system help you to make long smooth casts.

You will not be disappointed with this iconic reel. It is fantastic for heavy beach fishing and will make easy work of Tope, Conger Eel, big Skate and much more.

I use my 30’s for tope fishing from the beach. I cant cast 8oz with huge baits and these fly further than my BG’s. I love them!

An all time classic reel that I have been using for over 20 years. You really cannot go wrong with the slosh series.
