Description

The Daiwa Air Surf Fixed Spool 15′ rod has a casting weight of 3 – 7oz and is supplied in 3 sections.

The Air Surf Fixed Spool utilises Daiwa’s ultimate carbon technology to give you a slim, light and powerful fixed spool rod which also has the casting capacity to easily exceed the 200m mark. The 3 piece blank is made from X45 carbon which is also reinforced with SVF nanoplus technology to add stiffness as well as fast recovery without adding any extra weight or diameter to the super slim rod.

The Mega Top carbon Hybrid tip is ultra-fine for superb bite detection and quickly blends into the increasingly powerful mid-section which also helps to give the phenomenal casting performance. This makes the Air Surf such a good long range match/clean beach rod.

The rod is also finished with Fuji LC low rider Alconite guides which are perfect for using fine nylon or braid main lines. Also, the reel seat is a fixed Fuji DPS screw winch which is great quality. The handle is finished with a Japanese shrink grip below the winch and a slim EVA grip on the butt.
